General rental conditions
The HISWA conditions apply for all payments, our deliveries and our
activities. These will be sent to you along with the rental
agreement.
Not included in the rent:
We follow the travel offer guidelines and are transparent with
regard to the question which costs are included in the rent and which
are not.
The following costs are not included in our rental price: used water
and fuel (fuel on return), port-, bridge- and lock dues, shipping-, tourist- and/or
other dues and cleaning costs. If you entrust us with the final
cleaning, we will charge € 50,00.
If you decide to follow a practical shipping course at
Schippers
Start Help, the costs of this course are not included in the rental
price.
Payment:
First paymentterm 50%: due within 3 weeks after receipt of the
rental agreement. You will receive the agreement within 2 weeks
after the reservation.
Second paymentterm 50%: due at least 3 weeks before departure at the
latest.
For bookings within ashorter period shorter than 6 weeks before
departure, the complete rent has to be paid in one instalmentat
once.
Deposit:
The deposit, which has to be paid in cash before departure, is €
500,- (also own risk per incident). You will receive a receipt for
this deposit from us for this. You get the deposit price back from us
when you return the yacht to Langelille in good
condition, on time and with a full diesel tank. The deposit is not
for paying or settling the costs of diesel.
Insurances and sailing area:
The motor yachts are all risk covered with an own risk of € 500,=
per case of damage within the permitted sailing area of Friesland,
N-W Overijssel and Groningen.
It is not permitted to leave the sailing area with the boat. It is
therefore strictly forbidden to stay on the IJsselmeer, Ketelmeer,
Gooimeer, the IJssel, the large rivers, the Wadden Sea or other
tidal waters with the boat. In case of violationinfringement of what
has been said above, the lessor has the right to retain the entire
deposit or a portionart of the deposit, as the lessor sees
fitaccording to personal insight.
Rental agreement/Conditions of payment:
After you have come to an agreement for renting a yacht, you will
receive a HISWA rental agreement from us for hiring and hiring out
excursion ships,which is created by professionals from theof ANWB /
consumer association / HISWA, which and which you have to signhas to
be signed by you and returnsent back to us within 5 working days.
The agreement becomes binding after we have signed itit has been
signed by us and sent it back to you.
Obligations lessor and tenant
Lessor informs tenant about possibly needed operatingdriving
licences before the rental agreement is contracted.
Lessor is obliged to prepare the vesselut the vessel at disposal as
followsed:
• on time and in a condition which is in accordance with the legal
provisions;
• in good condition and complete with inventory and supplies;
• with filled water-, fuel- and gas tank;
• with enough written and/or audiovisual instructions in advance
before the vessel is used, in particular concerning the control of
the liquid level of the batteries, of the oil level and other
lubrication;
• in favour of the tenant insured against legal liability, own
damage claims and theft for sailing on the lakes and waterways in
Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe and North-West Overijssel.
• to be accessible for the tenant by telephone (mobile phone or via
landline) during the entire rental period
Tenant is obliged:
• to be accessible for the lessor by telephone (mobile phone) during
the entire rental period;
• to follow the lessor's instructions;
• to ensure that people on board have enough practical sailing
experience;
• to bring back the vessel to the lessor at the end of the rental
period, at no later thanthe latest at the point of time stipulated
in the rental agreement, free ofwithout any personal articlesthings,
at the stipulated locationplace agreed on (jetty) and in the same
state as at the beginning of the rental period.
• to empty the waste water tank, to refill the water- and fuel tanks
at one of the following petrol stations: the Texaco of Merenpoort
petrol station in Echtenerbrug or the petrol station in the port of
Langelille uponat return, before berthing the boat and giving it
back at the stipulated locationplace agreed on (jetty) and to hand
over the receipt received from the owner of the petrol station to
the lessor as a proof offor a filled tank;
• to sendt a clear copy of a valid identity card to the lessor
before the rental agreement is signed and to have the original of
thisyour identity card mentioned above with you onat the day of
return and to sign the copy of this card "certified as authentic" in
the lessor's presence;
• not to bring/ have /use any petrol or gas bottles (among others
for barbecue) on board and not to smoke on board of of the yacht for
your own safety and the safety of the other people on board.on
behalf of your own security and the security of the other people on
board;
• not to connect their "personal" electrical devices on the 12V, 24V
and 220V on-board system apart from medical devices and with the
lessor's agreement.
Tenant declaresexplains:
• to have enough sailing experience on a ship of comparable length
and in a comparable sailing area and if this is not the case to make
an appointment for a sailing training with Schippers Start Hulp;
• to inform the lessor immediately in the event of a problemfault
and to give him the opportunity to fix the problemfault (or havelet
it be fixed);
• to contact the lessor directly in case of damage, regardless of
the type and/or extent and regardless whether it was caused by the
tenant himself or not. The tenant shall take note of the detailsdata
of the potential counterparty and - if possible - take photos of the
other boat, the visible damage and the people on board.
• that he transfers the copy right to the lessor and gives the lessor
complete approval for publication in each language on the lessor's
websites or other publications of all texts written in the guest
book by the tenant and/or members of his company, of material in the
broadest sense posted by the tenant and/or members of his company
such as photos and of illustrations made by the tenant and/or
members of his company
• to be informed and to accept that the lessor, given
the multitude of factors which can influence the functionality and
quality, does not accept any responsibility for the right
functioning of the mobile internet connection. Here you can think of
the software on the tenant’s laptop (or other hardware) and possible
“holes” in the network provider’s coverage area, among other thingsHISWA conditions

Travel offer guidelines
As a HISWA member, we follow the travel offer guidelines: the prices
on our site and other advertisements are transparent and don't have
any hidden costs.
The travel offer guidelines are determined by the trade
organisations ANVR, BARIN, HISWA Vereniging and KNV, by arrangement
with the consumers' association, Stichting Reclame Code, the
Ministries of Trade and Industry and the Ministries of Transport and
Water State.
